I’ll be taking a short break from uploading next Monday. Come back for first page of the chapter on Thursday 8/05. You’re all the best and as always thanks for being here!
I love how much this says without saying anything. Those god-rays are beautiful.
Oh boy, now we’re starting to enter dangerous territory, that title is foreboding.
I hope you have a good week off, and looking forward to next Thursday!
Beautiful cover! Reina is finally taking her spot among the main protagonists in the story. I’m looking forward to delving into her backstory.
Meanwhile, Kiro is thinking about how to teach the other campers how to get food. Something she admittedly knows little about as she has only minimal experience in that department.
With winter around the corner, the true test of the campers’ resolve, resourcefulness, and willingness to cooperate will determine if they survive the winter or not.
Plus, what about Kiro’s “secret”? Not counting Daisy and Archie, no one else is aware of Kiro’s abilities and the morbid connection she has to this area’s history. Will this be the point at which Reina discovers Kiro’s powers? What will her reaction be to finding out that Archie is alive and his relationship with Daisy?
Reina has been a part of the banner characters since the comic began and I am eager to see how she will fit in with the others.
interestingly, I interpreted the cover (and especially Reinas body language) to show that the relationship between her and Kiro is going to sour really fast as she turns tyrannical.
Regarding teaching them how to gather food: i guess she’s going to have to enlist Daisy and Archie with that, but that will be tricky
Well, if Darien is anything to go by, then your prediction could come true. But, Reina is more interested in resuming her pre-camp life once this is all over. The only thing standing in her way is the impending winter.
Finally caught up! Just started reading yesterday.
This cover page is very, very beautiful. And seldom have I seen a piece of art so clearly depicting such tricky-to-capture weather. Looking at this, I know what the sky looks like from Reina’s perspective, something not shown on the page. Impressive. I know what the temperature is like. On the beautiful days, it is my favourite time of year.
