Kiro: Sierra Station, this is Charlie 1, do you copy?
A: Charlie 1 this is Sierra 1, you are loud and clear.
Kiro: …I need help. I made a mess. Please, I want to come back.
I thought that Kiro might actually be a master manipulator to remind us why she ended up at camp in the first place. It’s easy to forget she was a grifter, but now she wants to cut and run?
That kind of sounds like Kiro is bailing… but maybe not. Maybe she just wants to reconvene and discuss things.
But I also kind of half expect A to be like “I told you so!”
Oof. I mean, I agree with her, she’s definitely in over her head, but I was kinda hoping she had some more plan Bs in her. Partly because this whole mess is actually pretty engrossing.
She caused this, she’s got to see it through! Though I do empathize with her. Kiro is a complex person, she’s got a lot of flaws, one of them is getting in over her head and then panicking and running away. She understands the ethical ramifications of putting the unstable Reina in power, yet she is preparing to abandon her anyway…
Interesting development, this. If she leaves, I reckon the camp’s ‘wanna be bosses’ will have it out, one way or another, though it remains to be seen how Darien’s expedition fares on getting more food.
