9.32 Transcript
Darien: Maybe he was just another shut-in. Maybe no one will miss him… But still, this resulted from your first action in office.
Darien: And no one else wants to suffer that fate, right?
Darien: You’re walking a thin line right now.
Kiro: Hey, who do you think I am? Take your problems up with Reina.
Darien: Ohooo? We know, you share all your dirty little secrets.
Someone could be dead, and Darien is so smug about it – as if he caught someone cheating on a test and plans to rat them out.
Maybe if he was in charge, Ben wouldn’t have gone missing right now, but what would he be doing in short order when famine sets in? I really wonder what he had in mind for all of that.
I’m wondering if Ben was a plant, intended to go missing to make them look bad. (Maybe the plan was for him to hide out for a while before returning, although he might’ve tried to hide on the ship and instead went down with it for real.) Darien certainly picked up on his absence quick enough to seem sus.
You know, that’s an interesting idea! I hadn’t considered that… I wonder…
Ben was probably doomed anyway as Darien’s famine survival plan would have been to eat him.
It would be better to eat Darien, there’s much more meat on him
