In which Kiro misses no opportunity to make this awkward. Looks like they still have at least two of the four that they set out with though.
I love the third panel with Reina just looking at Kiro. You can tell all kinds of things are running through her mind right there. And Kiro is just so relaxed.
But of course, they didn’t bother to check the cave to see if anything else was in there. At least it’s the others and not a family of bears.
No, no, it could totally be a family of talking bears. Plot twists and all that.
Awkwardness increasing! But who is in there with them?
They will be in there for a while. Alaskan storms are notorious for lasting hours or days. Hopefully, this one will be the exception.
Who’s doing the voices in the background!?
I’m guessing that’s the other kids? Because if they didn’t find shelter in this cave, I’m not sure where else they’d be, but I’m not picturing anything good.
Could be some who survived the polar bear attack and found this cave as place to wait hoping someone would come looking for ship.
