Not even an “Are you okay?!” We see how it is now.
But take heart, Kiro! At least you didn’t get drenched with freezing Alaskan water this time.
I think that there’s a script involved, Kiro. ^^
To take a stab at breaking the curse… I think? Wasn’t it?
Also, “ever” as in the comic or “even” as in the transcript?
Fixed that. Oops
Not that I’m complaining, but – if only one side’s support snapped, why didn’t the canoe go vertical (still suspended on one side) and dump everything (and Kiro) into the water?
That worked out surprisingly well, by the standards of sudden catastrophes. Seems this curse prefers the subtle approach.
Remember, the curse is not that they will die spontaneously, the curse is that they will kill each other.
