Yet another incident to add to “weird things kiro does”
Daisy: Is she talking to a bird?
Daisy: Kiro, you about dry?
Kiro: Huh? Uh… yes.
Kiro: Oh, she’s gone.
Daisy: You’re not talking to animals now, are you?
Kiro: Animals?
Daisy: Never mind. You still got that fish to catch, eh?
Kiro: Yes…
Hey, but no diving in after it this time, okay?
I wonder, is Daisy better when Kiro is talking to something she can’t see? She’s obviously aware that something is going on, but she might start to think that Kiro is just crazy.
Huh. This is the first time that ANY of Kiro’s spirit creatures have manifested in a form that other people can see. I wonder if that’s important….
Why doesn’t Daisy shoot the bird? As far as she knows, it’s just a wild animal that happens to be conveniently distracted by Kiro, so it would probably be pretty easy to hit.
Well, eagle isn’t considered particularly tasty. In a couple months she might be desperate enough though, who knows
Daisy might want to consider psychiatric sessions if she sees Kiro talking to a bird…!
I like Kiro’s posture and looks in these latest two strips, she looks very spontaneous and natural; the shoulders and leg movements underscore her words. Maybe because she’s in lighter clothes it’s easier to see all that.
Thanks! I really need to draw more actiony pages as well. Too much sitting around…
Kiro: *momo noises*
