7.10 Transcript
Kechika: What you saw is also me, though I can no longer control it. I gave that up long ago. I did not want to bear the weight of another tragedy.
Kechika: But I was wrong. While the curse kills the greedy, others are just caught in the trap.
Kiro: Don’t worry! You said we can fix this together, right?
Kechika: That was not a promise. It is not likely you will survive.
Kiro: Then I’ve got nothing to lose from trying.
Kechika: You’d really rather throw yourself at a hopeless situation than enjoy your last days?
Kiro: You’re just messing with me, aren’t you?
Hey, you’re invading my personal space! If I had a beak I’d peck your eyes! 🙂
Forget the beak, those claws are more vicious looking. I’ve seen an eagle up close, those’ll go all the way through your arm, hot knife through butter.
Kiro’s enthusiasm is great, and also baffling to Kechika. She’s probably never had anything close to a friend before, I’m excited to see where this goes!
Also, how does she braid her hair with no hands? She must be really good with her claws! Or just magic… >_>
Little is known of land spirit physiology. Kechika’s “hair” or what we take of it may grow pre-braided, or could have a peculiar curl that makes it self-braiding.
A greater mystery is: How in heaven does she get dressed?
@SevenX77: Since it would take wings even larger than Kechika’s to support a body her size, I’m pretty sure she can simply appear any way she likes, so, yeah, magic. ^^

Quite right. Horses hounds and hawks are called “beasts of the foot” for good reason. I’ve had a golden eagle on my arm with nearly a centimetre of leather between her claws and my skin, and I still felt those talons.

Kiro’s cute as always, Kechika’s cute in her stern way as always, and the closeness of their faces makes my hopelessly gay heart sing!
But for real, shipping aside, I’m still really loving their dynamic ^^
