A: Yeah, but what about the fact that every one ended in a fight to the death?
[A: And what’s more, every single time, such as after the massacre at the mental hospital…]
[A: Somebody would see her appear. The bird woman.]
Kiro: So how do you know all this, huh? Did everyone leave a diary?
A: Journals… papers, pictures, bloody scratches on the walls…
Well, if you’re in a horror movie you have to leave behind “proper” documentation. Though you’re more likely to find it in a horror game.
In Evil Dead, it was the left behind documentation that caused the horror in the first place.
He has been thorough in his research! I wonder how much Mum knows. And what her goals are. She does not seem to spend too much time looking for the fugitives.

What could mom want? Let’s just mix all the options! I bet she is the last and only of the descendants, knows about the not-normal stuff, and plans to destroy the winged woman creature to take and use the power that turns people on each other, and needs to be the survivor of the (a?) massacre for her plan. Then she is going to take over the world, making all the other people murder each other. Clearly she must be stopped – there we go with some topics for the next few years 🙂
Just kidding, of course. One of the things I appreciate about this story is that it does not have the ever-escalating hype of some other comics, where it’s saving the country, the world, the universe!
Maybe mom just wants to let them collect something – information, things? – and confiscate it once they need something the wilderness won’t provide.
Lol. I know what you mean with the hype of other comics. G.o.H. is like that. Even Denma – although, there are 8 universes there, so there’s even more scope!
“Mum” is always around with the camera. She’s documenting. Seeing how long it takes for the ‘kill all the ppl’ thing to work. Either that, or seeing if kids are immune?
It’s possible she’s a survivor, and she wants to know why she wasn’t affected. Either that, or she’s like Kiro and can see … “things”…
