Last year saw a pretty big readership crash during the holiday season, so this year I’m providing comic updates through Christmas week – don’t forget to check in! I will still take a short one-day break on New Years’ eve, though.
Thanks for reading ♥

5.19 Transcript
Kiro: How about being able to change people’s memories, or waking them from unconsciousness?
A: So I’ve read.
Kiro: It worked on Darien and Jack. And Daisy, in fact.
Daisy: What?
A: Wait, are you speaking from experience?
A: Anyways. Welcome to emergency retreat. Now that you’re here, I assume we both have questions for the other.
Daisy hadn’t heard that before. Let’s see how she handles it. ^^
The enviroments on this comic are so comfy. Reminds me of the south of my country.
A lot of webcomic authors take the last 2 weeks of December off so readers may just be expecting it. (Especially that two of the authors I follow are driving themselves to illness by stress). My advice is not to think about the readership numbers over the holidays — they are probably just a blip. And please don’t stress yourself out like seems so common right now!
Thanks for the kind words. I’ve always had enough pages in the buffer so it’s not as big of a deal… Though, it would be nice to have some time off to build it back up. (and, happy holidays! 🙂 )
I expect, hope for and try to encourage a break every now and then. If you can do it by building up a buffer and automating the updates then that’s the best of both worlds but if you can’t don’t stress over it. I’ll be around for sure… until I get burned out and lose my bookmarks at the same time, that did happen once. I don’t expect to lose my bookmarks again though and even if I did, I’d likely find my way back, through TWC or something.
