Reina: Hogwash, Daisy? You’re the one who found the journal. Why’d you give it to the resident conspiracy theorist, and not to Mom? She always has rewards for that kind of thing.
Daisy: I admit it was weird. I had questions. But I just don’t believe in “that kind of thing”.
Kiro: What is “the door”, Reina?
Reina: The night before he disappeared, he kept mumbling about a door. I could tell he found something Mom really wanted. But he also said, he should’ve gotten rid of it.
(Journal: Arrange six stones in the center of the runes and light a flame in dried leaf of devil’s club…)
Reina: And the last thing he told me before Mom busted in, “If this is true, we’re better off dead.”
A might have had the right thing in mind. Usually, a ritual like that spells trouble for everyone involved.
I’m thinking he should have destroyed the journal when he had the chance.
I’m thinking it’s a good thing he didn’t destroy the journal, because it’s probably the only hope Kiro has of ending the curse.
Maybe Shadow!Kechika isn’t the only dark entity at work here.

Man, been a while since I got caught up on this comic. And boy, things escalated quickly once Mom showed up. Not surprised that they did, but I wasn’t sure she was going to show her face at all. Judging by how things seem to be going, it…probably isn’t a good thing she did.
That’s not a happy insight.
