Shadow!Kechika: Very funny!
Shadow!Kechika: What makes you think that’s even possible? Mediums like you aren’t so rare, you know.
Kiro: You can’t touch me, that’s why. If it would break your curse, why not just kill a Dubois? Because that would Reset things, wouldn’t it?
Shadow!Kechika: Ah, you’ve figured it out…
Shadow!Kechika: You’re not the first one to reach that conclusion, though.
Oho! The game’s afoot now.
I knew it! Shadow!Kechika was up to no good!
Hmm… it seems like someone’s been caught monologuing. Even if she isn’t the first one to figure it out, the fact that she did puts her above some of the others and she’s on the right track.
I suppose foreswearing her adoption wouldn’t work? If she abandons the Dubois name?
Is it just me, or is ShadowKechika trying to subtly cast doubts on Kiro’s intelligence? Like, Kiro is a genuinely clever, insightful girl, but the response to her working out the holes in the story is a snide, “eh, you’re not the only one to see through my ploy.” Just kind of talking down to her. I dunno if I’m reading too far into this, but something about the way she speaks just feels like she’s trying her hardest to break Kiro down one way or another. And Kiro, to her credit, is holding her ground.
I don’t remember if shadow!Kechika actually has a reason for wanting the curse to be broken. Is it affecting her negatively? Does she just want to watch the world burn? Can someone remind me if it’s been mentioned? What motive would she have to do all this?
I wonder if it is just a coincidence that shadow!Kechika has the same color of hair as Mum.
I don’t think so. It was always suspicious that Mum vanished the moment things started to happen
So just to be clear, she couldn’t be killed because it would create a Higurashi-level loop. But was she telling the truth about her killing herself?
She’s intierly too pleased with herself. And that moment of numplusness makes it seem . . . studied.
If killing Kiro would just reset things, why did
