10.03 Transcript
Kiro: You won’t be able to come for two days?
A: Well we’ve still got to fix the hole in the boat. … Are you in immediate danger?
Kiro: No, but…
A: I didn’t quite catch that.
Kiro: I might have done something to piss off Reina.
A: Okay, that does sound life-threatening.
A: I’ll tell you what. There’s an old trail along the shore you can follow. It shouldn’t take more than a day to get here. … There’s a machete and some biscuits in the cabin. Take those.
A: Stay the night in the cabin and call at sunrise tomorrow.
Heeeey, more walking, and you may even leave tracks that Reina can follow….
Kiro is pretty set on meeting back up with them, almost desperate. Heading off by herself may not be a great idea. She did learn some survival skills, so maybe she’ll be okay… but she’ll be alone, too.
“Okay, that does sound life-threatening” got an audible chuckle out of me. It’s amazing how Reina inspires terror in people despite being so fragile herself.
It’s dangerous to go alone. Take this machete. It will help.
