Following, I’m making some big changes re print books, Patreon, and future Kickstarter (!)
• Books currently being sold on Amazon will be pulled soon. It was an interesting experiment and I hope everyone who bought a book is happy with their purchase. However, I have heard of printing/quality control issues (which are out of my control), and most importantly THE PRICE IS JUST TOO DAMN HIGH!! (and I’m tired of lining Bezos’ pockets. After this ends I will be fully divested from Amazon.)
• Once the first six chapters are fully revised, they will be packaged in a new print volume of ~260 pages. Later chapters will be revised faster, due to fewer panels needing to be redrawn.
• The new book will likely be made available thru Kickstarter, for about $20-25 (half the price per page vs. Amazon). They will be produced from an actual print run and the quality will be much better. Revised pages will be prettier, consistent and free of errors.
• appendix (tbd) with full character sheets, updated maps, brief historical backgrounds, bonus art.
• Patreons at the $7.25 tier would be eligible to receive a free book and/or PDF within four months of its release.
• This would be available in June 2022 at the earliest
I would love to bring this to you sooner, but I’ve literally got no time (already spend 15-20 hrs/week on the comic on top of 45-50 hrs working.)

More likely an informative heart-to-heart chat, but agreed that the expedition is doing more for their relationship than for the camp’s food supply.
I have purchased both existing books from Amazon, though I agree I don’t like that particular venue. I do sometimes have to use it due to where I live and needing things that would otherwise be even more prohibitively expensive otherwise.

I have a new job, a higher hourly wage, and due to increases in basic cost of living things I’m even worse off than I was two years ago. I hate it.
Amazon is the dollar store of online shopping. Cheap, but you get what you pay for. I’ve found that with the books- the sample copies I got, didn’t have great quality control. Other than the books, I haven’t used them since March. Won’t again unless they stop abusing their workers.
