Kiro: I swear this tilt’s getting worse.
[Kiro: Huh.]
[Kiro: I shouldn’t dawdle here too long, but…]
[Kiro: That must be the ship’s log.]
That would be so disorienting, I think. And I can’t imagine you’re going to read anything you like in that manifest, Kiro. Though maybe it has some clues as to what’s really going on here.
She sure looks like something’s got her attention. Also, this is usually when something reaches out and grabs you. Just sayin’.
Like any good thriller/mystery novel, searching through the final words of victims offers up valuable insight as to what had happened to them or others. Their last words will hopefully clear up the mystery about the crew’s fate.
“Aaaaaaaaargh?”
“Maybe he died while he was writing it?”
Take what you can grab and GTFO. This place is literally trying to kill you and standing in a sinking ship is just asking for it.
Reina: flips out.
Kiro: flips pages.
Ship: flips over.
Curse: flips everyone off.
Seals: flip to the rescue – can’t beat them in the flipper department.
If it was fate that brought Kiro to this very moment to find this book… would that make it manifest destiny?
Nah… I imagine something like “luckily bears cannot climb on the sides of the sh—__”
