Kiro: Why?
Reina: You’d rather this stuff be lying around for all the crazy kids to find?
Reina: Don’t get too excited, there’s no bullets.
Kiro: I wasn’t thinking about that!
Be honest Kiro, you were totally thinking it.
So good so far, but if the rest find out there’s a cache of food somewhere in camp, they’re going to swarm every nook and cranny to find it.
Love the comic but every thing about those tools is wrong, it breaks immersion which is viral in horror.
Please google up some real sythes and axes.
The axes are Pulaskis, but yes agreed the scythe looks weird. I admit this comic is produced on a very low budget. Will fix.
I hope you have fun with the research
I guess I’m not an expert in weapons (or horror tropes), because they were good enough for me …
So I’m guessing your a tech guy. It’s like watching somebody compile code on a cell phone or hack a buildings automated security from a phone booth out side the building. We all gaps in our knowledge of the world. Mine is that i cant even imagine what an office worker does.
You can compile code on a smart phone with https://termux.com/ for example.
Oh good, I was worried they’d have trouble killing each other.
Well, I’m usually not a mystic/horror genre fan, but this comics hooked me) So greetings from Mother Russia)
Hello…just testing the comment system, seems to be some kind of glitch here.
It’s kind of like that scene from Twister where they try to hide in the tool shed during the tornado.
Testing…
Hmm, I wonder if that gun happens to be Chekhov’s? :p
I mean, the saws and axes probably would come in handy for, uh, nonlethal purposes.
The lone ski pole half amuses me and half makes me wonder what happened to its twin and the, uh. Bearer.
Kiro, you might find suspicious the fact that Reina KNOWS that there is no ammo. Someone thought about it before you did, and judging by the fact that no one knows about the weapon stockpile, the last of it might have gone into making that skull decoration.
That, or A knows that Reina is a yandere and also found out about the weapons, which is why he exiled himself.
… I have no idea how my comment ended up where it did. But yea, google images is your friend
So, Reina, whats your definition of “crazy” then? since it doesnt seem to include you, that… raises some questions. maybe A was right.
A lot of people get scythes wrong – the handle is perpendicular to the plane of the blade. Too many incompetently drawn Deaths.
Er, could my comments be finally approved?
Bullets can be fairly easily manufactured. But gunpowder is not as easily found, and can have various grades that seriously affect performance. BP is not the same as modern GP. And those in particular appear to be some form of muzzleloader, or older style of rifle. Performance could be affected by age, condition, and other factors. The older make gives them some more flexibility, and some additional dangers to watch for.
But, better to have the tools than not. Might just get them through the worst of a cursed winter.
Ohhhh, dear.
This could all be useful, but this could all result in easier bloodshed…
