The hut seems to be missing a few parts…..
Blender is only one black diamond while Screamer is two. I can only assume it’s because the screams of the broken still echo to this day.
…Can someone please tell me why does that signpost have the words “Screamer” and “Blender”???
Those are probably names of local hiking destinations. Maybe it’s two peaks or mountains that have been named like that.
It’s a former ski resort (so the chair lift). The different routes or runs (ski slopes) from the top are named, with exciting names like “Screamer”. They’re also graded to show how difficult they are, “black diamond” is difficult; and two black diamonds is more difficult!
DarkHazen: those are the names of two ski trails. The symbols (black diamonds) indicate that they are difficult ones (Screamer being the harder of the two).
DarkHazen, it must be the name of skiing pistes, two diamonds means experts only.
Those would be the names of the skiing trails. The black diamond symbols next to them indicate that they are expert level
Oh wow, a lot of us jumped all over that question!
I’m guessing the chapter will be ending soon, because usually the chapters are 30-40 pages long
