Wonder how Reina thinks she’ll justify this.

I’ll be away today (touring a logging operation near Santa Cruz for one of my classes) so comments won’t be approved until later tonight.

4.02 Transcript
Reina: It was unbelievable. They decided they couldn’t spare the effort for you and just left.
Kiro: Yeah, but what about Daisy? Where is she?
Kiro: And why are you here, anyway? I don’t even recall seeing you yesterday.
Reina: As far as I know, Daisy’s not in a great condition, which is why they rushed her back-
Kiro: Hold on.
Kiro: You turned me in.
Reina: Wait, I can explain.
I just love the expressions in the last panel… They really speak to me.
Kiro’s face tells me that several choice expletives were removed from the end of her line, although everybody involved heard them anyway. And Reina’s probably can be summed up as “OH. RIGHT. UH. SHIT.” XD
Also, you mentioned liking the mystery of Gunnerkrigg Court… What’s your tolerance for horror? There’s a webcomic called Broodhollow that’s a joy to read, although it’s been a while since it updated last… It’s got a lovely H.P. Lovecraft bent to it.
Looks interesting – I love things that are scary in a creepy/mysterious way. Thanks for recommending it!
When did Kiro get smart?
I think she always was intelligent, just too inexperienced to be careful or distrustful. Remember, these are teenagers, their exact experiences in life so far will dictate in which regards they are adult and in which regards they are still children.
