Are those arrows just fancy toys, or something more?

Kiro is being shushed
A spirit arrow? What HAS Daisy been studying? O.o
It is a little known fact that if you take human ashes and mix them in a 3:1 ratio with nitrogenated glycerin, you create a crystalline matrix of human souls. 😉
Probably got banished for witchcraft, in addition to murder…
I knew it! She is magic! Though, it looks like she putting ghosts in her arrows, so… I dunno. Could just be spirits who like her and are merely pretending to be bound souls, but she could just be some sort of bright and cheery necromancer.
Making gunpowder is not that hard if you are willing to skip the sulfer but that does not look like gun powder
TWC picture:
Now that looks like Seattle in the background, doesn’t it?
And A doesn’t look at ease at all, so I don’t quite know about that “peachy” assessment.
Though might be he’s just nervous due to the romantic situation?
A’s just being shy, probably.
Also fun fact, about 90% of the total time spent on that drawing was drawing the skyline.
I like her, simply because she is using a bow 🙂
Also, because said bow is a realistic one, as opposed to those nerf-bow like designs often depicted in fantasy/scifi comics and games.
Also just pointing ou Daisy’s arm is bent really wired in panel one. Lol
It isn’t, at least that I can see… It took me a second to figure out that Daisy’s back is turned to the viewers in panel one.
You can see that from the fact she’s using her right hand to shush Kiro, and that the bowstring is behind her other arm, rather than in front of it.
@Sunny You’re right, actually. I didn’t even notice until I looked back at it just now!
I know it’s a nitpick, but… That’s not how you use a bow!
You hold the bowstring by hooking your index finger and middle finger, keeping the arrow held between them; it’s the reason you have just a weird-shaped piece of leather to keep the bowstring from cutting into your dominant hand, rather than a full glove. I’ll admit that I don’t know what using your entire hand to draw would do to your shot, but I suspect it would rob your shot of a fair bit of power and accuracy, as not all of your fingers would release quite the same, and having to smack them aside would rob some of the force behind the arrow…
And much like the comment about teenage boys being morons, this comes from personal experience. xD
Thanks for letting me know! I must admit that was mostly just me being lazy since drawing her hand the correct way would be more difficult than just the fist… but now I want to fix it!
