It is not theft. But buying (or selling) things while manipulating their value certainly is a crime, I believe it falls under fraud.
As a sidenote, $33869 = $149 * 112 + $249 * 69, which is just 181 phones, but I’m sure there’s a similar solution with more than 200 phones.
Kiro, I don’t blame you. Student loan debt is really out of hand. The real thieves are the ones that put your parents and you through all this.
