Wow, those facial expressions are so good. From left to right, they seem to express a whole range from ‘what don’t I know about you?’ to ‘it’s time to come clean’. Such anticipation!
Okay, I just had a crazy thought- What if Mom IS Shadow Kechika? They have the same hair color, and they both have a connection to the curse. It would make sense that SK would want to get inside the camp to ensure that the kids are as miserable as possible, and it would explain how she had access to Tongue Eater (since SK’s goal appears to be to ensure the curse is fulfilled)

Hehe you noticed! I’d thought it looked similar enough to fly under the radar.
I noticed because A wasn’t in the previous lineup and the character’s poses were different.
Oh, and I have a couple of headcanons for the kids.
1) The curse is broken, and they are freed from the camp. But Kiro has to sacrifice herself to do it and thus stays as a Guardian in Sealspace alongside Kechika.
2) After breaking the curse and leaving the camp, the children travel to the nearest town. But since they were practically abandoned by their parents they instead settle down and live out their lives in Alaska.
Oy. They do NOT have time for this. It makes for a good story though.
