Would it not be obvious for kiro that the shades are related/ working for/ expression of the curse at this point ?
she already met the separated form of the spirit, she will meet the rest of it…
the only reassuring part is that they have not killed nor injured her yet, so either they cannot, or that mere violence (not ‘just’ violence, no matter what they think) would not fulfill their goals.
Hats off to Kiro for being so brave and selfless.
Hmmm. The chapter 11 beginning has Kiro without bonds meeting the Master. Hope somebody takes off that large iron ball beforehand.
Given how determined Kiro is to solve all this, it wouldn’t have surprised me to see her stand there, arms crossed, tapping her foot impatiently for this ‘Master’ to show up if they’d just told her “Wait here.”
If it’s helpful: The arms of Tongue Eater are too short, usually the elbow is slightly above the pelivs (not around the ribs) if posed like this.
…I wonder. I get the feeling the Master might end up being a character we’ve seen before. But I’ll hold off on saying who I think it might be for now (y’know, because I’d look stupid if I guessed wrong).
