[11.29] Shadows (II)
I am really sorry to announce this, but unfortunately this comic will be reduced to one update a week (Thursday) until further notice. I am running into some economic and life realities. As much as I would like art to be my main job, I simply can’t see a path to that. Be assured there is NO risk of hiatus. It is still a passion project for me and I will finish it no matter what happens. Thank you all for reading, and I am very grateful for all the patrons who have supported me over the years. I hope to get the updates back on schedule as soon as possible.

11.29 Transcript
David: Kiro, we trust your judgment, but what if… this takes care of our Darien issue?
Kiro: [I’ll lose all credibility if I blame things on a curse.]
Kiro: Nothing wrong with checking it out, right?
Reina: What is that?
Kiro: [This is going downhill too fast! Did I trigger a death flag somewhere?]
Black and white Kiro seems to be on the fence about that possibility.
I’m half expecting some kind of kaiju to show up with the amount of destruction and explosions happening. Those poor kids.
Take your time; protect your mental health. As much as I would love to see more frequent updates of Detox Camp (and Ocean Skies) I would hate even more if they stopped completely when you became homeless, or because you were locked up in a psych ward.
Take care of yourself. That’s paramount.
Oops, I’d forgotten about these guys. They certainly know how to hold a grudge.
Thank you for the head’s up on the schedule change.
I hope you are able to work out your financial and life issues and find a balance.
Thank you for writing and drawing. Take care!
Even though some may be demanding that you keep up the schedule, most of us will understand that some times reality gets in the way. I will still eagerly wait for what will happen this winter, and based on the previous winters described, there seems to be something more urgent in the curse this time around.
its been great so far, and looking forward to the ongoing tales…
but first and foremost, You come first! look after you, and come back to this later.
true fans can wait…
Your health first, comic second. We can wait for updates while you rest. Take care.
Oh, and those shadows have shown up again. To me, this scene is eerily similar to the part where Kiro’s adoptive family ancestors torched the tribe and the people in it generations before. Can anyone else see this?
Understand. You still have to pay bills.
That is . . . not Daren.
