Reina; I was about to get thrown to the wolves. I’ve got no credibility left, guys. Look, you got me elected but I really was nothing but a single issue candidate.
Reina: Being president hasn’t improved my reputation. If anything, I’m getting pressured more.
Kiro: But Darien has no plan for the food shortage either, right?
David: Well, duh, he’d just hoard it when it runs low.
David: Like right before the ship showed up with you on board…
Kiro: Hoard it?
[Kiro: I can already imagine that future…]
Bleak and ugly spring immediately to mind.
He makes sure that he and his cronies have enough to eat–at the expense of the rest of the campers.
Why am I not surprised?
Even for Darien and company, that’s still just comes down to a game of ‘who starves last’, unless they can come up with a sustainable/renewable source. I don’t know to what extent Daisy would try to assist, but I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t be so naive as to become the designated ‘hunter/food slave’ for her brother and the rest who cast her out.
That ain’t a happy imagining look.
