[10.41] Denial
What does he know?
————————————————————
For some reason, Google Ads flagged Kechika as a “sexually suggestive” image (at least it’s *moderate and not *severe. lol) ——–>
Censorship is getting out of hand these days… Or am I the one trippin, I honestly can’t tell what is the problem here.

I’m keeping the poll up a bit longer for the Monday readers (Mon always gets more hits than Thurs for some reason). If you haven’t already, feel free to toss in a vote for up to 3 characters, you may have to click “submit” separately for each one.

Kiro: Uh, should we bury him?
Daisy: Why bother?
Daisy: He tried to kill you twice. Waste of effort anyway. A bear will dig him up.
Kiro: What did you know?
Daisy: KIRO, LET’s GO!
I think that it’s just Google being overzealous with it’s censorship as usual. I don’t see anything wrong with the image.
Also I’d like to find out what he knew, though I’m sure it will be revealed in due time. I like the suspense that scenes like this create.
flesh tones and lines on the wings make the google AI think of nude body parts, I expect?
nothing like a good warning from a dead man’s lips to create an atmosphere of black foreboding…. as if we didn’t already have enough of that. At this rate, everyone’s going to die before winter even comes, though our heroes might have a word or two to say about that?
Yes, it does look like the AI got confused like Mendel said. I suspect increasing the difference in color between Kechika’s wings and skin (such as making the wings grayer or darker) will do the trick.
Usually a lurker, but I’m really enjoying your story and am excited to see where it goes!
Possibly, the censors are aligned with the tongue-eater, and thus trying to exact revenge. Of course, that’s just a theory.
Like nature itself, Daisy is grounded in the harsh realities of wilderness survival. Still, I admire Kiro’s desire to know what’s behind it all
Wait, if I remember correctly everyone whobwas at thisblocation when the curse kicked off had to survive right?? So doesn’t his death screw that?
Obviously it’s that come-hither look on Kechika’s face. Actually , it’s probably just quirk of the AI, which was programmed by Silicon Valley Tech Bro nerds who assume any woman who actually looks at them must be interested in them, sort of the same way comic book cover artists keep showing women in anatomically impossible poses because they assume their target demographic has never had enough experience with actual women to notice.
Google Ads… has got better taste than I’d have thought. Do webcomic readers still use the term PSL?
Can’t say I have heard the term myself.
