Kiro: Cannibals? That’s the most absurd thing I’ve heard yet!
Darien: Hey, you…
Penny: One gets tired of camp food after a while, maybe.
Darien: Absurd? You haven’t seen nothing yet, eh. People here are desperate for a lot of things.
Darien: Yes, I think it’s time to show her DOWN BELOW.
Kiro: Hey, don’t you dare eat my seal jerky!
Heh, if Daisy actually has gone cannibal, she’s wasting her energy hunting seals. I see a protein source here that should keep her fed for 6 – 8 months. ^^
The more we see of this bunch, the better Banning looks….
The problem with cannibalism (besides the massive ick factor) is that the more biologically similar to you your food source is, the greater the danger of disease and parasites. That’s why many non-human animals also shun eating their own kind, and why even in human cultures that do practice cannibalism, it’s a relatively rare ritual, not a primary source of nutrition.
Discus is kind of tricky to use, all right, but it’s the plug-in I know how to use best, so I hope you can make it work.
As an added benefit, Discus supports followers, which gives more exposure to the comic. 🙂
EDIT: I’ve never installed Discus, I was just talking about commenting on it. 🙂
Down below? That’s slightly ominous sounding. Either everyone gets this tour eventually, they are warming up to her and plan on bringing her into some of their secrets, or its the opposite and you really really don’t want to go to the down below….
Wizard, the last ritual cannibals have stopped in 1998 due to Kreutzfeld-Jacobs.
The major problem with cannibalism is that humans have little meat on their bones, and are usually stringy.
Vat-grown meat will solve that problem.
Cannibalism can lead to mental health issues.
