This page is especially pretty. I like the night sky.
Get away from the city lights, and it’s amazing just how much you can see.
That looks like the face of someone who wants to forget.
“Thousand yard stare” is one of signs of PTSD.
Why is she laying on her hair?
Why is her hair down while sleeping? It has to be knotted and awful if she keeps doing that.
It figures that Ben is the only one who can sleep.
No rest for the traumatized.
I wonder if Ben had an easier time sleeping because of his capture earlier. We have no idea how long he was awake while he was a captive. Also I like the contrast between beautiful night and the creepy vibe the distant skreeeees give off.
I don’t know, Gilly, I don’t have problems when I sleep on my hair. Especially when I’m laying on the cold ground while camping. I’m more concerned about getting tangles from the wind during the day.
Honestly I just find sleeping on my hair to be uncormfortable (or rather, the trying-to-fall-asleep part). Like, anytime you shift even slightly, you’re pulling on your hair, assuming it’s longer than shoulder-length and especially if it’s hip-length like Kiro’s. I always flip my hair up over my pillow (or in that direction anyway, even if there’s no pillow) so I’m not on top of it.
I find this really amusing. There’s not enough head hair left for it to be a problem. But, sometimes I have to move the beard out of the way so it doesn’t annoy me.
She’s taking the watch because otherwise she’ll be having nightmares. Not that sleep deprivation would do her psyche any favors.
Omg I caught up. Now I guess I’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the next update…
