[6.44] Complicated
Sorry about the late update again. The internet connection where I live is so abysmally awful, I loathe using the internet now. Well that may be an exaggeration but I do miss having pages take less than 2 minutes to load.
(Also for anyone checking updates via Twitter, I’m doubly sorry… the site simply hasn’t been letting me upload images for days. Today was the first day in a while that it worked.)
6.44 Transcript
A: So in conclusion, whoever brought you here not only knew exactly what they were doing… but had sinister intent. You’ve got one connection to this place, and it’s not good.
Kiro: Wow, I feel rejected. Then again, I didn’t ask to come here, either.
Daisy: But then why did Mom try to confiscate the journal, then?
A: This is where it gets kind of complicated.
Daisy: You’ve talked yourself into a corner, haven’t you-
I’ve made a searchable archive! It has (will soon have) all the comics, tagged with who’s in them, where, when… Whatever seemed useful. For example, if you’re on 6.36 and wondering in what comic panel 5 happened, you can search for Kiro, A, Flash, and 2.21 pops right up! Hopefully this is helpful to you.
Coded in two days, went through all the comics in around 4. Here’s the link:

Some fun trivia:
Comic URLs autocomplete (/pages/6–36 -> /pages/6-36-no-blood-relation, but there are weird exeptions:
/4 -> [4] but /5 -> [5.01]
Chapter 2 starts like this: [2.1] [2] [2.3] [2.4] [2.5] [2.6] [2.7] [2.8] [2.09]
Chapter 3 gets really weird: [3.01] [3.02] [3.03] [3.04] [962] [3.06] [989]
Page [4.08] is the first to not have Kiro in it.
This is great! This is much better than the archive on this site. I’d really like to have something like this… Also, thanks for pointing out the inconsistencies in the URLs. I want to go back and fix them now, but would that break the searchable archive you created?
May I suggest adding every comic that references The Wing Man? :3
Some extra notes: The site has only 1 image, and search is entirely client-side, so it should be fast even on horrible connections.
This is very cool !!
If you like tweaks, adding a click-to-deselect-topic function to the icons on the “comics containing” line might be handy. I kept trying to click there for “off” instead of going back to the on/off toggles above.
Wait, is this possibly the writer’s actual compositional tangle being projected through a character as a narrative device? Ooh, that might get…complicated. =)
A is like: “Oh crap!”
Daisy is like: “Why is this the first time I’m hearing all of this?”
Kiro is like: “She’s jealous! She thinks he’s all about me!”
@piq Will do.
It’s super easy to fix on my side, so go ahead!
I don’t know if you’d want to include it on this site somehow… Hosting is free on neocities, so I don’t plan on putting ads there or anything.
