Very reassuring.
4.26 Transcript
Daisy: There it is! We’re almost at the end of the course.
Kiro: How many times have you been through this?
Daisy: It’s been a while, but if the rules have remained the same…
Daisy: This looks scary, but there’s nothing to worry about here.
Daisy: All the traps have to be self operated. No manual interference… The bridge is so exposed, it’s impossible to put any trap on here that wouldn’t be extremely obvious.
Daisy: I’ll go first. Follow me after I cross it.
Kiro: And you think Darien isn’t above changing the rules?
Daisy: It’s his own rule.
What is the purpose of such an area in a CAMP FOR REHABILITATING CHILDREN?
Well, it wasn’t always a camp. Methinks this area should’ve been sealed off long ago…
I’ve certainly picked up some indications of at least that much. I also haven’t figured out what that deep hole is yet.
It makes sense to place an aluminium refinement plant in Alaska for cheap access to ludicrous amounts of energy, but it needs to be in the form of electricity – they should have a direct pipeline of gas or a nearby dam, not the largest freaking oil tank in the world. Someone said large scale missile silo, that seems more likely. Experimental nuclear power plant fits pretty well, but then how did the cleanup come to be halfway done and how did it come to be the camp grounds… well, it’s not like how this place ended up as camp grounds wasn’t a big WTF already… questions and theories, questions and theories!
I won’t be surprised if the undercarriage has been sawn through.
What did daisy bring ?
The Amazon ad on the page apparently only had the word “Bridge” to work with and wants to sell me the “related products” “Bridge To Terabithia” and “Bridge of Spies (Theatrical)”. 😛
That makes more sense than some of their ads. I’m still wondering how I once got a link to colored hair wax. (Yes, that’s apparently a thing.)
Well, that was quick.
I have a feeling we readers missed the parts that went somewhat easily and skipped ahead to the difficulties.
I feel like we’re going to come out in Nuka World 😉
Really enjoying this story so far, great work on it!
