Free Books Available for Patrons!

As a new Patreon benefit, I am now offering free books upon request. This is currently available only to patrons at the $7.25 tier, with a minimum continuous pledge of three months starting in October 2021. At this time, I can only guarantee this to readers in the US. I have yet to figure out if I can send things internationally via Amazon.

Here’s how it works-

  • Patrons starting on or before October 2021 will receive their first free volume in December 2021 (3 months from Oct.) and future volumes spaced a minimum of 3 months apart.
  • New patrons will receive their first free volume 3 months after the start of their pledge, and future volumes spaced a minimum of 3 months apart.
  • Limit of one free copy of each volume, per patron.

If you already purchased Volume I, you may request Volume II instead as your first book. (Or if you like, you can still receive another copy of vol. 1, maybe give it to a friend or something?)

$3 patrons are unfortunately not eligible at this time, but I’m exploring a few different possibilities. Either a longer waiting period between volumes, or receive a free black-and-white copy instead of color version. Feel free to send me suggestions.

An important note

These books are not a significant source of income for the comic. I’ve priced them as low as possible to make them “affordable”. Around 90% of the price goes to printing costs and Jeff Bezos’ yacht money. As much as I dislike Amazon’s shady business practices, it‘s still the cheapest place to print and distribute books worldwide. I’ll set my ideology aside to provide you a more affordable product.

Of course I’m not discouraging you from buying a book, just speaking facts here. If you’re more interested in supporting the comic (awesome!), a $1 Patreon pledge nets me nearly as much as a book sale.
