Kiro: Daisy, can we be friends?
Daisy: Sorry, we can’t. Remember, I’m banished. … Most would shudder at the mere mention of my name.
Kiro: Okay. Well, no hard feelings.
Kiro: They temporarily banned me from eating at camp… You’re the only one who’s been nice to me so far… I was only out here looking for food.
Daisy: Wow, you sure did something to piss off the council, eh.
Daisy: Gimme a second.
Daisy: Want some of my seal jerky?
[Kiro’s stomach: Mission success!]
Why should Kiro care what the other inmates think about Daisy?
Also, she’d better hide that jerky, or the thug in charge will “confiscate” it.
Heh, she might have to learn that the hard way… Choose your friends carefully, and don’t miss an opportunity when one presents itself…
What are the council going to do to Daisy if she befriends someone? Banish her?
